Reunions

Could it be? Rumors of a Led Zeppelin reunion have been an annual occurrance, I’m pretty sure, since John Bonham died in 1980.

Robert Plant and Jimmy Page have always denied the rumors and insisted there was never a good reason to do it since Bonzo was gone.

But it looks as if the NME has uncovered something interesting.

Plant says they are going to do it.

Why? Why now? For the money?

These guys don’t need money.

Charity? OK. Maybe that’s a good reason. That’s what got Pink Floyd off their asses.

We will see if this all materializes.

Meanwhile, I’m patiently waiting for Ratt to come to my home town.

Led Zeppelin? I’m far easier to please.

Warren De Martini is alot more to fun to watch anyway.

The day after katrina anniversiary No. 2

New Orleans is still a city in need just like it was the day before yesterday.

I watched Anderson Cooper’s CNN anniversiary special last night. There was some good, hard hitting reporting in it. But first we had to endure three pieces that featured Cooper and his sadness and outrage. I understand it but I don’t like it when the reporter becomes the story.  Not very cool AC.

OK. That’s that. Next, something about pop culutre. I promise.
